Valderrama oils are made by Casas de Hualdo on its own estate at El Carpio de Tajo (Toledo), where the mill stands among the olive groves. The olives reach the mill shortly after harvest and are cold-extracted. The oil settles naturally and is bottled under an inert atmosphere.

Arbequina is the mildest oil in the Valderrama range. The producer describes it as soft and sweet, with a fruity aroma and flavour, which makes it a good oil for dishes where you want the oil to support rather than dominate.

The olives are grown and milled on the company's own estate there, on the south bank of the river Tagus. Casas de Hualdo planted its first olive trees there in 1995 and built its mill in 2009.
