Shipping Policy

1. Geographic scope

PuraSangre ships to multiple European Union member states. Available destination countries can be checked during checkout. PuraSangre reserves the right to restrict or suspend shipments to certain destinations for operational, logistical or legal reasons, without liability. In such cases, any amounts paid will be refunded in full.

 

2. Carrier and order tracking

Shipments are handled through DHL via direct API integration with our store. Once the order is collected by DHL, the customer will automatically receive a tracking number by email, allowing them to monitor the status and location of their shipment in real time through the DHL portal.

 

i  Proof of delivery

The delivery record generated by DHL (date, time, geolocation and/or photograph of the delivery point) constitutes conclusive proof of correct delivery. This record may be used by PuraSangre as evidence in the event of disputes or non-delivery claims.

 

3. Delivery times

The total delivery time consists of two distinct phases:

-     Order preparation: PuraSangre reserves up to 7 calendar days from order confirmation for preparation, quality checking, packaging and dispatch. This period is necessary given the artisan nature of the products and the need to ensure their integrity and food safety.

-     DHL transit time: Once collected by DHL, delivery time varies by destination country. Times shown in the store are indicative and non-binding, as they depend on factors outside PuraSangre's control (carrier operations, customs, local conditions, weather, etc.).

 

PuraSangre does not guarantee exact delivery dates unless agreed expressly in writing. Indicative times shown on the website do not constitute a contractual commitment. Delays attributable to the carrier, customs, force majeure or incorrect delivery details provided by the customer do not create any liability for PuraSangre.

 

4. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are generally borne by the customer and are calculated based on destination country, weight and package dimensions. The exact amount is shown clearly and transparently before order confirmation, with no hidden charges.

PuraSangre may offer free shipping promotions on a temporary and discretionary basis. The specific terms of each promotion (minimum order value, eligible countries, duration) will be stated expressly in the store. Promotional free shipping does not apply to orders subsequently subject to partial or total returns for reasons not attributable to PuraSangre.

 

5. Perishable products — Special conditions

Given that PuraSangre's products are artisan food items, in part perishable, the customer expressly accepts the following conditions:

-     All products are dispatched with the shelf life stated on their original label, in compliance with applicable food safety legislation and PuraSangre's batch traceability system.

-     The customer must inspect the order upon delivery and report any issues (damaged packaging, products in poor condition) within a maximum of 48 hours from receipt.

-     PuraSangre is not liable for deterioration of perishable products caused by inadequate storage conditions on the customer's part after delivery.

-     During periods of high temperatures, PuraSangre may apply additional thermal packaging at its discretion, but does not guarantee the use of active refrigerated transport unless this service has been expressly contracted.

-     The customer accepts the risk of deterioration resulting from delays in collecting the parcel from a delivery point or parcel locker, once DHL has confirmed its availability.

 

6. Failed delivery, absence or incorrect address

If the order cannot be delivered due to reasons attributable to the customer (prolonged absence, incorrect or incomplete address, parcel refusal, inaccessible letterbox, etc.), DHL will make the delivery attempts provided for in its service conditions. After these attempts, the parcel may be returned to the sender.

In such cases, all additional costs incurred — including return-to-sender costs — will be borne entirely by the customer. PuraSangre may deduct these costs from any eventual refund or invoice them separately. PuraSangre is not liable for the deterioration or loss of perishable products resulting from failed deliveries attributable to the customer.

 

7. Damage or loss in transit

If the order arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging, the customer must:

1.   State express reservations on the carrier's delivery note or proof of delivery at the time of receipt.

2.   Photograph the outer packaging and the contents before opening.

3.   Notify PuraSangre within a maximum of 48 hours from receipt at purasangregourmet@purasangre.nl, attaching the photographs and the order number.

 

The absence of reservations on the delivery note or notification outside the stated time limit may hinder or prevent claims against the carrier. In the event of confirmed total loss by DHL, PuraSangre will proceed to re-ship or refund the order.
